Joel Itzkowitz, Owner/President
As the Owner and President of Construction Consultants L.I., Inc., Joel Itzkowitz focuses on strategic direction, corporate marketing, and project delivery to offer premier General Contracting services, as well as cost consulting, estimating and construction management. With over 30 years of experience in the construction field, Joel has managed the growth of CCLI since 1986 to include an extensive and wide-ranging array of construction projects for Suffolk County, Brookhaven National Laboratory and Long Island Head Start, as well as numerous Long Island municipalities, fire districts and school districts.
Before founding CCLI, Joel held Project Manager, Estimator, Construction Administrator and Field Superintendent positions with well-respected companies on Long Island.
Joel is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he earned his BA Degree. He received an AA in Construction Technology from Madison Technical College and continued his studies in Construction Management by earning certification from SUNY Farmingdale.
Eric Baumack, Senior Project Manager
With over 18 years experience as a carpentry foreman and project superintendent for municipality projects, with 10 years concentration in the residential sector, Eric Baumack started with CCLI as a Field Superintendent in 2003 and rose through the ranks to his current position as Senior Project Manager. His field experience with every aspect of the construction process gives Eric an extra edge when it comes to his estimating skills. His detail oriented expertise and efficient manner in managing projects are invaluable to CCLI.
Al Hanson, Senior Project Superintendent
Al Hanson is Senior Project Superintendent and currently heads up our project team for The Town of Brookhaven’s New Sewage Treatment Plant. Allan has over 35 years of project management experience and holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering. Prior to joining CCLI in 2004 Al worked for such firms as Volkswagon of North America, Purolater Couier. and New York City’s School Construction Authority.
Ward Nicholson, Project Superintendent
With over thirty years of construction experience, Ward has been with CCLI for over 10 years. Recently he has been made a project superintendent and is currently managing the construction of a new day care center for Head Start.
Patrick Timmons, Field Superintendent
Pat is a top-notch, hands-on super who has brought many years of construction field experience to CCLI. He is particularly skilled in supervising public works projects, which is essential to the type of superintendent that CCLI needs. Upon hire in May of 2006, Pat was put in charge of our largest current project and in that short time has become a vital team member.
Susan Young, Office Manager
That pleasant voice on our automated phones and the go to girl when there is a problem belongs to Sue Young. A life long east ender Sue ran the day to day operations of a mechanical contractor before joining CCLI in 2006. Sue is the glue and the grease that keeps things going smooth for us. Always pleasant she will get your questions answered.
