New Dining Facility - Hickox Hall
Boy Scouts of America, Theodore Roosevelt Council, Wading River, NY
The building, a 6000 sq. ft. dining facility with commercial kitchen, was based on a pre-engineered structure. The owner, however, required a "rustic" look finish. This caused numerous design and engineering challenges for CCLI, but the end results, as seen in the photos, are impressive.
End Station Satellite Building
Brookhaven National Laboratories, Brookhaven, NY
This End Station facility is part of the one billion dollar National Synchrotron Light Source II project. The 10,000 sq. ft. addition built by CCLI will house the Soft Inelastic X-ray Scattering Beamline (SIX). This beamline will be one of the largest in the world and will be used for experiments involving condensed matter physics. The actual device won't be installed in the facility until 2016.
